Mathematics is an indispensable tool for biological research which makes this combination mighty. With a knowledge in this course, Biology/Mathematics is a course offered at the tertiary level of education in Nigeria. Prospective candidates who set to study this course, do so in other to become professional teachers who shall teach at the secondary school level. The course is a combination of two disciplines, biology and mathematics. During your study, you will learn 3 Professional careers, one which is to learn about biology, the other is the study of mathematics and lastly which is the sole aim of this course, being a teacher. After completing your studies, you are fully qualified to teach post-primary Biology and Mathematics to Higher Level Leaving Certificate Level and Science to Junior Certificate Level.
