Education and Biology is a course that builds and develops you into a professional biology teacher. As a course under the faculty of education, your primary goal is to develop the skill set needed to teach biology effectively at the Primary and Secondary School Level which is what this course is meant for. Education and Biology is an intuitive course to enrol for but we strongly recommend that you have some background knowledge already from your Secondary school and also to get involved in the practical aspect of biology, as this will help you in the long run.
The course covers everything you need to know in the area of biology which includes: (i) Molecular and general genetics Laboratory, Animal Physiology, Principles of Chemistry I and II and it goes extra miles to prepare you as a professional teacher.
