6 affordable universities in Nigeria 2020
Parents always want what is best for their children but most times, can't afford it. Today i have arranged a list of six universities and an estimate of their tuition. I urge you to bear with me if the tuition differ from what i may post here due to a change i might not be aware of.
Like i said before,it is just an estimate of the actual amount that is to be paid in the school. Before we go into the list, bear in mind that first year students tend to pay a higher amount compared to returning students.
Below is my list of cheap universities

University of Calabar (UNICAL)
University of Calabar is thought to be an expensive school my most people (me included), but it actually isn't. Tuition fees range from 31000-43000 naira.
University of Benin(UNIBEN)
This fine institution had to come on the list. It is one of the first generation of federal universities in the federation and also has made a name for itself. It was founded in 1970, as an institute of technology but was later on granted the status as a university by the National Universities Commission(NUC) in 1971. Tuition fee ranges from 12000-50000 naira.
National Open University of Nigeria(NOUN)
Noun, which is not a very old school, is actually the largest in the federation, based on the number of students. believe me when i say this institution is one of a kind. Its the first Open Distance and Learning(odl) institute in the federation, and the first in the West African sub-region.
Tuition ranges from 18000-36000 naira.
University of Abuja(UNIABUJA)
This institution is sitting right in the billionaire city of Nigeria, but is actually quite affordable. Uniabuja was established on January 1, 1988, with a dual mode mandate to handle both distance and conventional learning. It is located in gwagwalada, Abuja.
