Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges' Cut-off Marks-JAMB 2020

The 2020 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria has approved 160 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into universities, 120 for polytechnics, and 100 for colleges of Education.

The Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu, at the meeting, directed JAMB and tertiary institutions to proceed with admission conducts for 2020/2021. According to the guidelines released by JAMB, admission processes are expected to commence in August.

The Minister of Education who was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Emeka Nwajiuba, urged JAMB and tertiary institutions to consider candidates with the previous years' SSCE and other qualifying results, to proceed with admissions. He also said, the government will make arrangements to accommodate applicants who will be taking the exams when the opportunity presents itself.

It can only be presumed that soon, schools will begins announcing their screening dates and POST-UTME forms for sale. The countdown has started so all candidates should be ready. If you feel i left something out, please let me know in the comments.
